the friday commute traffic. you are looking live at the golden bridge. now- a look at the bay bridge toll plaza. and the san mateo bridge. no major problems to report right now. we'll keep an eye on bay area roads throughout tonights newscast. developing at five. a one- year-old baby boy shot in richmond, is now out of the hospital. you are looking at video from the shooting scene. just after it happened yesterday afternoon. paramedics treating the child. right now, the gunman is still on the loose. kron 4's justine waldman is live outside richmond police headquarters with the new details justine? >> reporter: these are the pictures of a live sh elijah...s grandparents just left the richmond police department.

they say that the bullet hit the baby's throat. he is now find and is in family in a word. they are ready to see him and have described him as a wonderful child and he is visiting with a family in hayward. this is what they described. >> how was he hit? all he was doing was crying. it took us several minutes that he had been shot. and we picked up his head and the bullet was stuck between his sskin.;. and his life is more precious than mine.

>> reporter: police are still looking for the suspect. they spoke to some witnesses will provide helpful information. also they are reviewing the surveillance of video. because this is a top priority they have increased patrols in the area. they are doing everything they can as we have seen he is now back home with his family reporting live, justin waldman, kron 4. >> pam: yosemite's curry village has opened up for the year. last summer. a hanta virus outbreak at the popular lodging spot. killed three people and sickened ten others. kron 4's charles clifford has details on what the park service is doing to keep visitors safe now. >> reporter: curry village is made up of more than 400 canvas and wood cabins and each summer thousands of people stay in the village

which sits near some of yosemite's most popular tourist spots. the national park service wants to avoid a repeat of last summer's deadly hanta virus outbreak and they've gone to great lengths to clean up the area. this is a google earth map of the yosemite valley.. curry village is located... here...on the valley's south side. the tents where the hanta virus infections were found are in what's called the signature series cabins. these cabins are heated with insulated double canvas walls...and that was part of the problem. hanta virus is spread through contact with mice droppings and urine and the rodents were nesting inside the cabin's double walls. attempts to clean away the problem were unsuccessful so the park service decided to remove more than 90 of these signature cabins in an effort to permanently stop the disease from spreading. they're also aggressively cleaning the other cabins and working to educate visitors about how hanta virus spreads.

the park service also recently removed dozens of cabins that had been closed since 2008 when a rockslide smashed into another section of curry village. those cabins will not be replaced and the area is being returned to natural vegetation. in the newsroom, charles clifford kron 4 news. >> pam: in the city of san mateo. police have arrested a man for spying on young children while taking pictures of them. this all took place at the pennisula gymnastic facilty. a brentwood man now charged with sexually assaulting a boy. over a six year period. this is the suspect -- average. titile in 3 years.

take a look at what happened at this school. they have become a special technology school but the computers were stolen overnight. they were estimated at at least $40,000. boy. over a six year period. this man sexually assaulting a boy over a six year period. this is the suspect -- gordon blake. police say the abuse began over 20 years ago -- when the boy was ten-years-old. the alleged abuse took place in blake's home and at a community pool. blake is being charged with 15 felony counts of lewd acts on a child. >> this fall and marlene

>> catherine: right now a huge landslide is still on the move in washington state. and the damage is gettinga huge landslide on a scenic washington state island is still moving tonight. it's already damaged 20 homes and taken out a busy 2-lane road. the earth is still tumbling down hundreds of feet here on whidbey island. the grass of this backyard - dangling on the edge. an aerial view show how perilously close homes now are.to this growing cliffside. people have been spotted getting close to the edge.

tonight - authorities are asking the public to stay away completely from the huge landslide. thirty five homes were initially evacuated. some people are worried about when they can get back. others never will. this home was knocked off its foundation and will be demolished. others - including daniel garcia's house - have been yellow-tagged.meaning anything can happen. daniel says he's going to move. and he's not the only person afraid of coming back. >> there is no way that i am going to come back. >> catherine: geologists say they knew this was coming. but couldn't predict when it would happen. >> when you get a lot of pressure it presses the sand grains apart and there is no cohesion. >> catherine: they're now trying to figure out just how much worse ".everything moves". as for when it will 'stop' moving.at this point, no one can say. residents have been getting tonight - there are extra sheriff's deputies on

the sierras? mainly rainfall very high levels of snowfall possible only 8,000 ft. and above. again, the rain fall band snow as we take a look at our extended forecast. dry and warmer conditions monday, tuesday, wednesday. the chance of showers returning thursday. >> pam: health officials in oklahoma say. a dentist may have exposed thousands of patients to potentially fatal diseases -- all because he did no't use proper techniques. sanitizing his instruments. tory dunnah has more. >> reporter: from the outside, w. scott harrington's dental office in surburban tulsa, oklahoma, looks like any other. but once inside, health officials found -- in their words -- a 'perfect storm' for infection. >> "there were multiple violations of lack of sterilization and lack of care shown in the office."

>> reporter: state health officials say over the past six years about 7 thousand patients may have been exposed to hiv and hepatitis. harrington allegedly used improper sterilization techniques for needles and other tools. for example.a cleaning device found in his office requires a monthly test to ensure it's functionality. the report says *that test hasn't been performed in years. and that's not all. >> "the thing that was most upsetting to us, because we take a very dim view of this from our board's perspective, is he was allowing unauthorized, unlicensed personnel to do iv sedation. and that is completely unacceptable, and illegal in oklahoma." >> reporter: harrington is 64 years old and has been practicing for more than 35 years. he voluntarily shut down his practice and surrendered his dental license after violations were discovered. investigators are unsure at this time if the dental practice infected any patients. the oklahoma state health department is reaching out and urging them to get tested. >> "the last thing in the world that you are going to
